Meagan Freeman

Director of News and Operations

Meagan Freeman graduated from Abilene Christian University in 2011 with a BS in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Political Science. During her time as a student at ACU, she was an announcer and production assistant at KACU, as well as a freelance writer for the Abilene Reporter-News, a newsroom intern for KTXS, Abilene's ABC affiliate television station, and a photographer and reporter for The Optimist. Upon graduation, she accepted a producing position at KTAB, Abilene's CBS affiliate. Within a few months, she was promoted to senior producer.

She is excited to be back at KACU. The station made a huge impact on her as a student and she is honored to be able to return the favor.
