The NCCIL’s toddler program E.A.S.L. – Every Artist Starts Little – is returning for this fall! This event will continue on the last Friday of each month through April; October’s event is Friday, the 20th, at 9:30am. Children 5 and under, along with an adult, will gather in the NCCIL gallery for this free event.

Spread Your Wings on The Wind At The Annual Spring Festival
Nature and science are the stars of the day at the annual Wings on the Wind Festival, on Saturday, April 20 from 11:00 to 3:00 pm at nearby Abilene State Park. The Park entry fee is $5 per car and the festival is free. The event features family fun with art and game activities and science and nature stations. Visitors can check out their wingspan, learn how to cast a fishing pole, and explore the solar system. Buy lunch at the food vendors or bring a picnic lunch and spend the day. The event is sponsored by the Big Country Chapter of Texas Master Naturalists.
Texas Master Naturalists are a group of well-informed volunteers providing education, outreach, and service for the beneficial management of natural resources in Texas communities.
